Travel and Stay

How To Get Here
If you’re flying to the UK then Gatwick is the best airport, as it’s only 30 minutes from Brighton on a direct train (Brighton is the final destination so there’s no chance of missing your stop). You can buy train tickets in advance from Trainline.com or Southern Rail.
Where To Stay
Brighton has lots of hotels and Airbnb/equivalents that cover almost all price ranges and preferences. But as the wedding is on the south coast in the summer, the prices of accommodation will reflect the popularity! There are very few bargains to be had, but we’ve tried to find some reasonably priced hotels that we know people have stayed in and enjoyed.
Apartments and Airbnbs
When it comes to apartments and Airbnbs, be wary of bargains that seem too good to be true. There are lots of apartments in parts of the city that are a haven for stag and hen dos and boozy weekends. If you’re unsure and want to book an apartment, please send us the location details and we’ll let you know if it’s a good spot. In general, avoid areas close to West Street or directly on the seafront close to the Palace Pier. Also, the nearer you are towards Hove (actually) the more expensive apartments will be.
